Bob Betza's World Famous Salsa

4 Cups peeled, cored, chopped tomatoes. (strain to remove majority of juice)
1 small can tomato paste
2 cups seeded, chopped bananna peppers (use latex gloves when cleaning the peppers)
1 cup seeded, chopped hot peppers (jalapino or chili)
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 cloves garlic(minced)
3/4 cup cider vinegar

Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, peppers, onions, salt, garlic & vinegar into a large sauce pot.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Prepare jars/lids in boiling water while simmering salsa.
Pour into hot jars and fill to within 3/4-1/2 inch from the top.
Place lids and caps on salsa.
Place entire filled jar into slow boiling water for another 30 minutes.
Remove from water and leave jars undisturbed to cool.
Jars are sealed when lids are drawn in (typically can hear them "pop").
